Knowledge for Wealth Creation: A Kenya Perspective

The University of Nairobi will launch Knowledge for Wealth Creation: A Kenya Perspective, dubbed as Elimika Book, edited by Judith Mbula Bahemuka, Joshua Kivuva and George Michuki, on Tuesday December 10th, 2019.

The book published by University of Nairobi Press highlights the need for communities to enhance their level of knowledge in the creation of wealth for sustainable development.

One Health Project for the Horn of Africa

One Health Regional Network for the Horn of Africa (HORN) is a multidisciplinary, international partnership led by the University of Liverpool and is being implemented in academic institutions in Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somaliland.  The project aims to strengthen capacity of individuals and institutions to undertake high quality One Health research in the Horn of Africa. It is being implemented in the School of Public Health College of Health Sciences and Department of Public Health Pharmacology and Toxicology (PHPT) in te College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences (CAVS)

AU Intra-Africa Mobility Program

The University of Nairobi has received an excellent rating by a delegation from the Africa Union mission who visited the University to evaluate management on AU Scholarship funds.  

This was revealed by Dr. Yohannes Woldetensae, AU evaluation mission when the team paid a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor on Wednesday December 4, 2019.
