UoN hosts Italian President Sergio Mattarella Public Lecture on Climate

On Thursday, March 16, 2023, the University of Nairobi welcomed His Excellency President Sergio Mattarella, President of the Republic of Italy, for a public address on Climate Change at the historic Taifa Hall.In his opening remarks, H.E President Sergio expressed his gratitude to address the audience at the prestigious university of Nairobi which also taught the late Prof. Wangari Maathai; the first African Woman to receive the Nobel Prize and her tireless commitment to the promotion of sustainable development of democracy and peace.

BOY CHILD MENTORSHIP SESSION BY PASTOR DR. DORCAS RIGATHI

On March 2,2023 2pm, H.E Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, EGH the Spouse of the Deputy President held a mentorship session in Taifa Hall. 

The purpose of the Mentorship Session is to restore the dignity of the Boy Child in Society as well as  issues surrounding Mental Health and Positive Living and how to overcome negative vices such as Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Unintended pregnancies, Crime and Drug Peddling among others.

Students Recognition Awards Ceremony -May 5, 2023

The University will award over 800 outstanding students in academic, talent, research and publications, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility, Leadership, Volunteerism and  Sports and Games through an award ceremony on Friday, May 5, 2023 in Taifa Hall at 9:00 am-11:30am
